Gibsonville Market Day: Every Saturday at 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. on the Green in Downtown Gibsonville.
The Grove Winery offers daily wine tastings. The tasting room is open from noon until 6:00 PM. Experience and enjoy wines from around the world and also some locally grown Grove varietals. Light hors d'oeuvres will be served. These wine appreciation classes will be held every other Thursday starting on February 9 from 7pm-9pm. The cost is $20 per class if booked at least a week in advance, $35 if booked the week of the class.
The classes will be led by Father Gerry Waterman of Elon, who is a winemaker and taught the wine appreciation classes at Creekside Winery. Each class is limited to 30 participants. Proceeds will go to local charity.

The Conservator's Center in Mebane, NC offers many different types of tours throughout the week. Tours generally last 1 1/2- 2 hours. All tours must be scheduled in advance. On a visit to the Conservator's Center you will meet animals up close. An experienced tour guide will tell you their individual stories and describe each species and explain its roll in its ecosystem. Most of our friendly and curious lions, tigers and wolves enjoy greeting and observing their visitors. You will be equally enchanted by smaller species including: binturongs, New Guinea singing dogs, ringtailed lemurs, servals, caracals, bobcats, lynx, and jungle cats.
